Laboratory Services

Need to get some blood work done? Stop by the lab at Stonewall Memorial Hospital. Our full-service laboratory department collects samples and runs tests all within the same building. The medical laboratory scientist on staff has experience in the fields of immunology, microbiology, toxicology and routine chemistry, among others. No need to travel far—you can get fast, accurate test results just minutes from your home.

Why Come to Us for Lab Tests?

We have the expertise necessary to conduct reliable lab tests. Each location has a medical laboratory scientist in charge of the laboratory department. These scientists are backed by experienced and highly professional support staff. They work hard to ensure you get your test results in a timely manner.
Also, we offer a full-service laboratory department. This means we draw blood and test samples in the same facility. By providing a full-service lab, we’re able to cut down on the wait time and send your test results faster. Blood work and testing occur in-house, although we do accept samples that were taken elsewhere.

How to Order a Lab Test

Ordering a test is simple—visit your primary care physician, then ask them to send in a lab order. We accept doctors’ orders for all types of lab tests. Plus, we’ll communicate directly with your physician to limit the amount of work on your end. All you have to do is speak with your physician and stop by Stonewall Memorial Hospital for the lab test.
One more thing: there are no referrals necessary!
Getting your test results is just as easy. Once the results are ready, we’ll send them to your primary care physician. You’ll get a call from the doctor’s office when your test results are available in your online patient account. Of course, you can always request a paper copy, too. We’ll even send you the results straight from our hospital if you’d like!
